Fian Technologies

Fian Technologies is a University of Toronto student start-up that aims to keep healthcare workers and patients healthy by ensuring quality hand hygiene practices are upheld. Their unique hand washing companion device uses sensor technology and interactive prompts to increase hand washing duration and compliance, and can be installed on any sink. Fian also provide real-time hand hygiene data to healthcare administrators and researchers, equipping them with the tools necessary to target and reduce Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs).
